Camp Canvas | June 2026

Hello,     My name is Shelley Staples and I work for Olathe School District. I am located at Olathe East High School in Olathe, KS. I am the facilitator for the Future Educators Academy. Students have the option of applying and being interviewed in 8th grade to be accepted to one of the 15 Olathe 21st Century Academies. I teach students from all 13 middle schools and they take courses from me for all 4 years of high school. All of my students are hoping to enter into the field of education and I have the best job in the world. In addition to teaching the academy courses, I also teach Human Growth and Development which is a FCS class.    I am a super techie teacher and love all types of technology! I am Google, Nearpod and Flip Grid Certified and love to chat with you about how to use tech in your classroom!
